Yesterday Lauren had her first play date. I took her over to my friend Gina's house to see Gina's baby Samantha - she was born a month after Lauren. I guess there wasn't really much playing, but the babies seemed to enjoy hanging out while Gina and I caught up. They took turns eating, crying, pooping and sleeping. It was a nice afternoon! Lauren did well in the car on the way there and the way back, except at one extraordinarily long stoplight. She really prefers the car to be moving, and she quit crying as soon as the light turned green.
Today it will be 75 degrees so we'll definitely be taking a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon.

I used to take lots of naps, do sudoku, drink ovaltine a lot, and overload on internet news. But that's when I was on bedrest. Now I'm a mom to a 4 yr old girl and a newborn boy and still a wife and a thrill-a-minute CPA - damn it feels good to be a gangsta :)
