an apple today
Today we gave Lauren her first taste of fruit - mushed up apples mixed in with rice cereal. I tasted the apples and they were actually good. She seemed to really like it - she was making funny noises in between each bite, which sounded like she was saying yumm! She is doing so well eating from a spoon. When I was standing in the baby food aisle of Target, I was all excited about the all of the tastes we get to introduce her to. It will be neat to see which ones she'll like.

Joseph only liked sweet potatoes and carrots. Her wouldn't eat any other baby food. He'd pass up baby plums (yum!) for a plate of olives and avocado. Made for some interesting diaper changes!
