an update from bassmaster Jeff

36" striped bass. I caught it in the Merrimack River near Newburyport, MA with a baitcasting reel, 25lb. braided line, and a large Zara Spook topwater bait. High tide was in, fish were swimming up the river with the tide, and swimming back out with the tide. A friend from the maintenance group took me out in his boat. He is from Iowa and used to fishing for walleye/muskie, but figured this deal out a couple weeks ago.
