milestones

Lauren definitely has been growing every day. We took her for a weight check at the hospital yesterday and she was up to 5lbs 15oz. Now that she is getting bigger, we can quit trekking to Wal-Mart for preemie diapers and use all of the newborn size diapers that we have stockpiled in the closet. She got her first piece of mail - her social security card - last week. Also, her umbilical cord stump fell off so now we can give her a 'regular' bath instead of just wiping her with a wet washcloth. So that was our afternoon activity today - Lauren's first real bath. I'm not sure if she liked it - she's kinda making a face in all of the pictures. Plus, as soon as we got her out of the 'tub' and into a towel, she immediately spit up. Total time spent bathing - about 6 minutes. Total time clean - about 6 seconds :) But anyways, here are the pics:
